Ancol was established back in 1971 by Ann and Colin Lane, who after identifying a gap in the flourishing pet accessories market seized the opportunity to start up a family business.
With the support of component suppliers and customers alike the business grew rapidly, quadrupling its workforce of three in the first year alone and outgrowing its premises with impressive frequency.
However, during this extended growth period the family were always careful to keep their promise to deliver exceptional service, quality and reliability at all times, a belief that's rigorously upheld to this very day by the next generation.

Almost 40 years and many millions of products sold later, Ancol continues to grow with the business now boasting a 100-strong workforce and over 70,000ft of warehousing.
Ancol's ever expanding facilities

Ancol originally set up a base of operations in Walsall during the early seventies, but as the demand for products grew, so did the need for additional space.
So after only 12 months, the company relocated into larger premises in 1972, which for 11 prosperous years housed an ever expanding workforce and product range.
Having outgrown the facilities once again, the company moved to the present site in 1983, and following countless improvements and extensions now boasts 70,000ft of warehousing and an impressive 4000 pallet capacity.

From day one Ancol have consistently invested in the company's infrastructure and production methods to guarantee exceptional service levels at all times.
This unwavering pursuit for excellence continues to this day, with the very latest cutting-edge technology such as voice picking and automatic stock control systems being employed by the business to ensure lead times and stock availability is unrivalled.

We take security very seriously and our site uses the latest 128 bit SSL security, complying with and exceeding all necessary security requirements to protect your details. We do not store any sensitive information (card number, etc).

We offer FREE DELIVERY on orders over £45 to the MAINLAND UK only.

Providing the order weight does not excede 32kg and is not a Bulk Item.

Bulk items such as Rabbit Hutches,Dog Carriers, Dog Beds, Parrot Cages, Cat Litter and Bird Sands maybe subject to extra delivery charge even if they are under the 32kg in weight.

Large bulky items to UK Mainland / Southern Ireland may incur additional charges from the couriers, please E Mail us for quotation on any large items irrespective of the weight.

If you request the parcel to be left without a signature (i.e. shed, porch,garage,etc) you will be liable should the parcel not be received.
We cannot take any responsibility should the order not be received, we highly recommend for all orders a signature is obtained.
We advise all customers to sign, "NOT CHECKED" with the carrier if you have any doubts about damage upon delivery.
In case of any damage please send photographic details to us within 24 hours of receipt.

Cancellation & Returns

If you wish to cancel any order you may do so at anytime after an order has been placed, or up to 7 days after the date of delivery. All notices of cancellation must be given to the company in writing .

In the event that you cancel an order after delivery you must inform the company in writing within 7 days. The goods must then be returned at your own expense to the company within 14 days of your notification to cancel your order. If you are unable to return the goods you must make the goods available for collection upon request and within 14 days of your notice to cancel your order. This will be at your expense and you will not be entitled to a refund of the original delivery charge. The company will be entitled to charge you (an equivalent amount to the original delivery charge) for this collection. These conditions will still apply in the event of any discount/special offer applied to delivery charges.

The company will not be liable for any costs incurred in the return of cancelled orders. The goods will not be deemed to have been returned until notification is given by the company that the goods have been returned to the address advised by the company.

It is your responsibility to return all goods in the same condition as they were upon delivery. The company reserves the right to deduct from the refund any charges necessary for the repair or cleaning of any goods returned not in the same condition as upon delivery. You are advised to retain the original packaging in the event of you cancelling an order. The company retains the right to charge for any necessary packaging/re-packaging.

The company shall be entitled to recover all costs, loss, charges, and expenses incurred in connection with goods returned not saleable as new.

Additionally there will be a re-stocking charge to cover the original cost of shipping to you (despite our free shipping policy we still have to pay a courier!) and for the handling of the item in our warehouse.

Should the product prove to be faulty or the wrong item has been delivered, we will not charge a handling fee and provided the item is returned within a 28 day period we will refund the cost of delivery back to you upon proof of payment.

Feedem Pet Supermarket Ltd return policy does not extend to products shipped outside of mainland UK.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
